KOMTERM, a.s.

This thermal image shows a pair of CHP (Combined Heat and Power) units located on the premises of TATRA TRUCKS in Kopřivnice. It is an efficient system designed to generate both heat and electricity. Working in tandem, these units can heat people's homes throughout the town, including the industrial campus with up to 92 % efficiency. KOMTERM has already transformed all the coal boilers in the Kopřivnice heating plant to incinerate gas and biomass, so the current ‘KO generation’ is much greener than the previous one.
